Characteristics
This 18-hole course is situated on the premises of the Hohenhardter Hof, a former knights' estate in Wiesloch-Baiertal. The manor of the former knights' estate is at the centre of the 120-acre course, rounding off the overall picture of the course in the sloped landscape of the Kraichgau. While the course becomes more difficult through the undulating terrain with differences in elevation of up to 200 ft as well as the sand traps, the tree and water hazards, it is nevertheless a fair course for all golfers.

A lot of potential wasted
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed February 13, 2022
The course is beautiful and is very challenging to play because of the many slopes, inclines, some narrow fairways and small greens.
However, the place itself is in poor condition, the fairways sometimes have a property like a field, the greens are sometimes full of unimproved pitch marks and small bumps that let the ball run uncontrolled. In addition, the fairways are overgrown with a lot of weeds and in summer there is an extreme drought. The back 9 are a real blessing compared to the first 9.
For guests, the green fee costs €80 at the weekend, I personally find it too much for this place, then I prefer to go to one of the many other places in the area for the same green fee.
Unfortunately, the restaurant is only "ok". Service sometimes very impolite, something is often forgotten.
Food is a well-intentioned grade 3. It's OK for the price, but don't expect too much here.

Fun
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 30, 2015
Very hilly course characteristics including many slopes. Precise game is therefore necessary, as well as a good physical condition.
I liked the place like because it contains some beautiful elements. A to playing pond, water obstacles, high-altitude greens, at the 18 very deep bunkers. a Talüberquerung and interesting greens. The greens are faster than average. Overall exciting, though not outstanding. The condition is good, the grasses are simple standard. I would say good German average. I am happy to come by again - just because the place is fun.

Had expected more
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 6, 2014
Had expected more after the two reviews. I have played the course in June 2014. The course incl greens were in good condition eimen. The layout I felt a bit boring and the prospects have been greatly diminished by high voltage power lines. The notes to the next tee teiweise were very lean.
