Characteristics
You play in the slipstream of the surrounding hills at a slightly semi-circular slope, which opens towards the sea. The climatic conditions are ideal both in summer and winter. The course is characterised by several lakes and canyons.

If you compare this course with a fairly good rating to the Bonavista Golf course with the same rating, then you cant understand, why people give it a 4 or even 5.
I am a single handicap player and found this course quite boring.
The greens are quite good but all putrs are straight and boring...
Driving range is good, clubfacilities as well.

Have to say its my favourite course in Tenerife. Excellent layout and very fair (no silly holes). Always in good condition and you would struggle to realise you are in the middle of a very busy resort, it's so quiet.
We had a group of 20 with a variety of handicaps and they all complimented it.
However, the staff are not very welcoming or accommodating. I know the course is very popular and perhaps they feel they will get customers regardless of their attitude.. which is probably true. However, when you spend 1000s of euro's bringing a big party, you would expect a better service.

We have been coming to Tenerife for many years and always play a few rounds on this golf course. This year we were shocked by the poor condition of the place. The tees in particular were miserable - there was little grass, but there was a lot of sand and what little grass was quite high, and also totally wavy and bumpy. In addition, the red and yellow tees were incredibly far ahead of the actual official measurement (many yellow tees were at the official red markings.) There were a lot of dry spots on the fairways, but at the same time there were also a lot of muddy ones without grass. The entire course has been in much better condition in recent years; A new Green Keeper has been working for two years now...
