the golf course was in good shape and has, because it's an old course, old trees along the fairways. ok to play, but nothing fancy. to mee, too much flat and back and forth.
the minus points are the following.
- phone booking max. one week in advance
- and sorry to say: they have some very snobby german members. when you have to play with them, good heavens… i had the last 5 years three encouters with such, it's enough!

Course played on March 18,2025. A predominantly flat parkland course. The fairways don't offer much variety. A few doglegs offer some challenge, but otherwise, it's simply a matter of avoiding the trees flanking the course.

Westlake is a beautiful golf course at the foot of the Silvermine Mountains and offers a wonderful setting and a relaxed atmosphere. The fairways are mostly in excellent condition, the greens are true and challenging, and the old pine trees along the fairways give the course a special, almost park-like atmosphere.
The layout is varied and offers a good mix of challenging and playable holes, so golfers of all abilities get their money's worth. Especially on windy days, Westlake is a great alternative to the coastal courses as it is a little more sheltered.
The clubhouse is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the entire facility exudes a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
