What a pity this guy didn't bother to look at our Website properly tp know what to expect It clearly states the fairways are dry in the summer months until the rains arrive, and that we supply an Astroturf mat to take shots off the fairway. The Cyprus Government will not allow us the amount of water we need to keep the fairways green during these months. We have had plenty of rain and thunderstorms recently. So even though it's only1 day after this guy played, the course is completely different now with plenty of grass. Please see the photograph taken today on Facebook Vikla Golf Club Limassol. The Vikla Golf Club is great.
Compared to other clubs, he is not a bit off the hook, but relaxed and down to earth. The offer is in very good value for money. The scenery is breathtaking. After playing a beer on the viewing terrace is the coronation. The staff are friendly, honest and helpful. You realize that they love this place.
The way is a bit strange at the first time, but then one of the most beautiful landscapes of Cyprus.

We were in Cyprus in October and looked around a bit and discovered this golf club in Vikla. Now I see that he is now also led here. Since Vikla is simply the closest to Larnaca airport. We have checked in at Larnaca (Tersefanou) which is close to the airport and also to the highway. So we not only golfing but also exploring the island from Ayia Napa to Paphos. Vikla is located between Larnaca and Limassol in the Troodos Mountains. This has the advantage that the temperatures are a few degrees cooler even in very hot October. This makes the game much more enjoyable. The course is open all year and we will definitely be back in the months between December and April. The place was still relatively green, considering that the hot summer has just ended. Some fairways are brown, but the greens are perfectly maintained. We can well imagine how much more green the course must be in the spring. The whole scenery is very nice because the single tracks are interrupted by old olive groves. You should choose the route via the motorway exit Pareklisia / Limassol. All other routes that are displayed may lead to roads with little traffic. From the exit it is perfect. We played a lot there. After we had also tested other facilities in the Paphos area, we stayed in Vikla at the end because of the location and the personal attention. The manager of the Margarita facility was always there for us. From the clubhouse you can look wonderful in the mountain landscape. On request, you can also eat a snack, but it is not a real gastronomic operation on site. Drinks are sufficiently there. Otherwise, everything is available what you need for a good game. Finally, one more thing that I liked. The course is not overcrowded and has very moderate prices compared to other facilities that we visited during the time.
