Incredible golf course, surroundings and atmosphere

This is truly golf at its best, perfectly maintained golf course with a wonderful layout and fantastic views over the Pacific, although I was only able to play about 14 holes over twilight fairy. For non-residents it is difficult to get start times. But Torrey Pines is really a “must see” when you’re in the region.

Torrey Pines south course played in Nov 2022, handicap 16/20. Of course, as a fan of PGA golf tournaments, you dream of your own game on large courses. Brought a lot of time to visit the pro shop and practice greens. The staff are all incredibly friendly. The man at check-in wrote down a German salutation for us just for fun in order to call us. The four of us ran the course, relaxed, briskly, without waiting. The winter grass had grown, the greens were fair, the rough was ok. The view is sensational, just like on TV.
