I was made so welcome

Rhe course is not highly praised. It does not do it justice i find. Admittedly no huge hazards, bur very tricky green (which were in perfect condition) and a very varied course; holes as eell as layout. I hope, i can play there again in a less wet summer. My thanks to both the mens captain and the 'barman' ans sll rhw other members i had a char with. You made me feel very welcome!!!

Great cours

We playd today (25.07.2014) at the Thurso golf club. The fairways were in perfect conditions just the greens had small bumps. Overall I recommend this course, it was fun and we really had an great view.

Well

THURSO GOLF CLUB The course is mediocre as there is no variety, apart from a few easy doglegs, it usually only goes back and forth. The condition is good, but in golf I would like a little more variety. The nine (PAR 3), which has a small lake (but it is so close to the tee, that you can only hit it as a beginner) is a bit interesting. But it is still interesting to play because the green is 140 m away - significantly higher than the tee. The place has few bunkers. A course that at £ 40 is certainly not expensive by German standards, but for this money you can certainly find better golf courses here.
Towards the end, at 16, there is a beautiful view over a fortress-like tower to the cliffs of Dunnet Head. But that still does not pay off for the only "satisfactory" quality of the boring place.

A 18-hole course located in the hinterland. This is where golf is said to be in Scotland without a fancy, calm and unaffected.
The place is in a good state ubd the people friendly and cordial.
The clubhouse is sometimes on and if, it is worth it there a tea or a beer to drink. Very scottish.
