The 6,452 m golf course is the newest creation of the legendary golf course designer Robert Trent Jones II - and the only one in North Africa. Guests of the Hotel The Residence are comfortably chauffeured from there to the nearby course in an SUV free of charge and picked up again. At the end of March 2024,250 dinars will be charged on site for 18 holes and 170 dinars for 9 holes, which in our opinion was not (yet) appropriate at this time of year. We negotiated a cheaper green fee because we played multiple times and with reference to the cheaper 2023 rate card (200 dinars/18 holes). During Ramadan, we were always able to play quickly and had borrowed 2 x carts and 2 x trolleys. Range balls were free and 1 large bottle of water per round. The greens were very good and fast; four had a few repaired stripes after the greenkeeper lost oil (unfortunately this happens). The fairway was still very short and the grass - as we learned - had its growth spurt from April. Nevertheless, it was good to play here and the balls had more roll. The "Persian carpet" made of grass was a long time coming. The bungalows and villas on the fairway are well spaced. At best, if there is a headwind and the tee shot (slice) on hole 11 is completely off, it could be noisy; but that didn't happen. It is definitely advisable to take a windbreaker with you, as the wind blows strongly from different directions every day, making golfing a bit variable. The service was very friendly and helpful, the restaurants only offered the full program in the evenings during Ramadan and their premises are attractive. The toilets on the course were also well maintained. We enjoyed the game and the blossoming nature. We liked the landscape of a links course, which was unusual for us, and we can definitely recommend golfing there - if you can get it for reasonable green fees.

A place that does not belong to perhaps the most charming landscapes of Tunisia, but otherwise offers everything a golfer's heart. The condition of the fairways and greens is excellent and the 18 holes sporty quite sexy. We also had to contend with unusually strong winds. In addition there was good exercise possibilities with free balls, very friendly staff at reception and a restaurant that will not disappoint you. Since little has been running, we were able to play a very quiet and relaxing round.

Perfect service from reception to restaurant, Wonderful Links Course in extremely good condition, fairways as Persian rugs, perfect greens, Heavy but not unplayable layout.
