The golf club is always described as very friendly with great members and service, which I don't want to question here. While the layout of the course has a few nice surprises in store, the current condition was not good. All fairways were completely yellow (in contrast to other courses), the sand bunkers were completely wet after watering (until late in the morning), and the tees were often an earthy area where there was hardly any grass left. You also have a driving range that doesn't deserve the name. After 120 m there is a fence. Driver tee shots should be made on hole 10 as long as no one is playing there. And all from a yellow-brown ground that only vaguely resembles lawn. You would throw away the range balls at home.
But there are offers for Rand 200 (equivalent to Euro 10), and the course is definitely worth it. You should only go somewhere else for a well-kept round of golf, a round of enjoyment.

We, both HCP 10, played the course on 5/5/2019. The greens are in good condition, but very slow. The fairways are different, from rich grass or soft Moorwiese to brown spots, which are marked however as GUR. We fought mainly against the wind, which even made the trees grow crooked. A big lake attracts not only golf balls, but also innumerable aquatic animals that distribute their dung everywhere. At the tees simple boards show the layout of the train. Who does not want too much and cheap (250 Rand incl. Trolley) without many tourists wants to play, is right here.

A place for easy entry into the Golfkarussel of SA. Booked via golfteetimes. co.za short for 20 € for the afternoon round with trolley. The site has also suffered from the drought of summer which is understandable and tolerable. So fairways 1-17 very dry but playable. Fairway 18 is well watered because it was in a very good condition. The greens all in very good condition, absolutely consistent. Hardly difficult bounds areas on the individual tracks, therefore the long hitters can let off steam. A par 3 with face-off over a water hazard. Friendly staff, nice starter.
