Poor value for money, poor service

Poor course, not worth paying 20 euro for 9 non interesting non challenging holes. I am not low handicap golfer but this course is very straight forward. The par 5 first too easy for a par 5 and the index 1 is by far and away the easiest index 1 I have played in a long time. I played the 9 holes in 39, on a normal course it would take 49 for me to cover this.
I rang the office several times to book a time slot but it was never answered
I will not be playing this course again as I would rather spend another 30 minutes in the car and play a good course (Carne in Belmullet approx 30 miles further west)

Greens and bunkers are well maintained and fenced the fairways are maintained by sheep. Nice view of the sea but as so often not quite a typical links course

Typical links course overlooking the sea, the, strong wind and primordial Golf offers wonderful views. Not for fine spirits, since the main purpose of the Green Keepers is collecting the dung. The greens are in very good condition as fenced and entered through gates. Although space has only 9 holes, but you play each of 2 different discounts from, so you have 18 different tracks. The 20 € are a full-day green fees, a good rental equipment including balls and tees costs 10 €. Morning little going on, from 11:00 clock it is quite full. Very nice staff - just typical Ireland.
