Marina Bay Golf Course is Singapore’s only 18-hole public golf course and one of Asia's best public golf courses. The course was designed by South African Phil Jacobs and opened for play in 2006.The 6493m, par 72 course is one of the few outstanding links-styled golf courses that you can find in Asia. Featuring 66 dramatic yet treacherous pot bunkers of varying sizes and depth, 34 waste bunkers, tremendous variety in the length of the holes and many undulations, the award-winning course provides many hours of challenges and enjoyment to golfers. Besides being one of the few golf courses in Singapore to offer night golfing, Marina Bay Golf Course also houses one of the biggest state-of-the-art driving ranges in the region.

Course played on March 1st, 2024, beautiful course right at the harbor in Singapore.

The course is actually flat except for the undulating design of the fairways and the relatively frequent water impacts. For me the whole thing was quite demanding - the pair 3 over water was not missing either. Rental clubs all from Tailor Made - one is very helpful in the Pro Sop. Marshalls ensure order on the pitch, driving across the pitch with red and blue lights and making sure that the players don't fall asleep despite the heat and humidity. That's very helpful. At some holes you can see the sea. Others have a direct view of the Singapore skyline. You should always play the course - a lot is more normal than in Germany - but sometimes there is a lack of etiquette - hence the Marshalls. Two special experiences: A par 6 that doesn't stretch like that in the Sempachtal and floodlights from nightfall over 18 holes - that's also a special experience that's worth it.
