Characteristics
The golf course is surrounded by woodlands, mountains, castles, and palaces and provides a view of the splendid Rhine Valley and the surrounding vineyards every now and then. The fairways are strongly modelled and each feature four different teeing grounds, big bunkers, numerous water hazards, and fast, very undulating greens. The Golf Hotel, a former convent, fulfils every customer's wish.

We played first Friday after the release of lockdown in RLP.
.Tee Off, Fairway in good condition except Hole No. 18. Rough quite high already. Semi rough cutted in the last days, without removal of the grass. This made quite difficult to find the ball.
Greens were very slow, Ball didn't roll smoothly, there are many small dents, places without grass, pitchmarks most probably not repaired on time. Bunkers without sand.
Overall, not so good impression paying 75 Euro Greenfee,

Very nice golf course in a beautiful location, great views and with many very different holes. In autumn 2024 the course will be in very good condition. Reception was very friendly. Unfortunately there were two points that really annoyed me. The restaurant had no chef and so there were only meatballs with bread, I could have been told that when I registered and not after the round in the very late afternoon. The second point was the price of 17.50 (without electricity) for a camper van parking space in a normal parking lot that was supposed to be big enough for three campers but was just normal car parking spaces. We thought it was pretty cheeky to charge us that price, especially since the designated space only has space for campers up to 5.40m and not three but a maximum of two. So the overall impression for me was only three stars.
