Not bad
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 30, 2016
The place is probably now officially a 6-hole course. Despite the rainy morning fairways and greens were in good condition. The place is not too difficult and makes due around fun. A few haircuts are demanding.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write about our wee course here on Eriska. It is now over 15 years old and whilst we have plans to eventually complete Howard Swans 9 hole master plan in truth we are as close today as we were 10 years ago. The course is all about doing things slowly and with the environment in mind so no huge earth moving and keeping true to the culture of the land utilising the stunning views of the lochs and hills and the fantastic Flora and fauna all around.
Along with the driving range and practice area there is also a new Deck restaurant overlooking the final green which insures that players can relax and enjoy their round all the more.

Location great, miserable place
1.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 17, 2014
During our visit in June 2014, the place was barely playable despite the sunny weather. The haircuts were soggy, the fairways reminiscent more of a pasture than on a golf course, and the greens were unkempt. Vorm playing of the tracks Six to Nine we were at the golf reception at the spa explicitly warned (!): You were there that the balls disappear even on the fairway, never to return in the soil so wet.
A positive factor is: The young man at the front desk would not let us run into the knife, but encouraged us to walk ahead of the game once over the place and then decide if we still wanted to play. The tour encouraged the impression that the superbly situated on the seafront site has a massive drainage and thus care problem. Because the ground even in summer is too wet, the machine can not seem to be used anywhere in the necessary measure. We then dispensed grateful...
It is hoped that the moisture and care problems of this courses to be solved: The location of the place on a small island by the sea namely is gorgeous.
