Characteristics
The Golf Club Hermitage is situated in one of the most beautiful bays of the island Elba. At the moment the course has a playing surface of about 10 sq. m. The tee-off of hole 1 islocated 16 m above sea level and is about 300 m away from the sea, while hole 6, the highest hole, is situated in an altitude of 60 m and is about 500 m away from the shore. In the even part of the parcourse two artificial lakes were created to collect the rain water.

The place is beautiful. Almost everywhere there are sea views. Advanced players could be a bit challenged, but the views are breathtaking.

The place is relatively small and very adventurous part. Check in at the front desk of the hotel Hermitage.
The lanes are sometimes a bit rocky and the greens and fairways slightly unkempt. However, they apologized for the somewhat sloppy condition. I was still fun to play, because it was something different and the people were really nice there.
The landscape and the outlook is very beautiful and I would play there again anytime! However, I can imagine that the place for golfers perfection is nothing.
