Characteristics
The former knights' estate is considered one of Holstein's most scenic estates, providing an adequate home for the golf and country club in the old manor. Thanks to the population of old trees and the river Pinnau meandering though the course, the charm of the old terrain is quite impressive. The diverse layout of the teeing grounds and the differing yardage of the holes provide a challenge for golfers of all kinds.

Wow, what a gem I have found here! The Gut Kaden Golf and Land Club is simply a dream for every golf lover.
The location alone is breathtaking. The grounds of a former knight's seat in Holstein, surrounded by old trees and with a river winding picturesquely through the grounds, are simply magical. You almost feel like you are in another time; such a historical ambience is hard to find.
But the Gut Kaden Golf and Land Club not only offers a beautiful backdrop, but also a first-class golf course. With various tees and different lengths, there is something for players of all abilities. Whether you are a beginner or a professional, everyone will get their money's worth here.
And the best thing is that the club has invested heavily in recent years. The golf courses are state-of-the-art and in immaculate condition. A new terrace at the clubhouse is currently being completed!
Oh yes, and the practice facilities are great too. A huge driving range with covered tees, plus a putting green, pitching green, chipping green and even practice bunkers! Here you can really hone your game until it's perfect.
Conclusion: The Gut Kaden Golf and Land Club is definitely worth a visit - if not a trip. I can't wait to play there again.

Wonderful place. Played on summer greens despite the frost. The "deal" of changing flags between two positions seems to be working very well.
We are dealing here with a parkland facility in which water often comes into play. The signage and all other infrastructure on the square are exemplary. The course remains varied and fair and is easy to play for all Hcps.
And the icing on the cake: Very accommodating and friendly staff in the secretariat.

I played the A-course on August 5th, 2020 and was thrilled. This golf course deserves nothing other than 5 stars. Both the fairways, the greens and the bunkers are in very good condition. Beautiful old trees. Many water hazards and well-placed bunkers (e.g. hole 4) make the game quite challenging. Very friendly staff at the reception and a very good restaurant complete the good impression. I will definitely play the B and C courses too.
