Characteristics
A golf course of a special quality was designed in a landscape typical of Lake Constance. The intriguing and diversified design of the holes is mainly characterised by sophisticated hazards. The sand traps show the handwriting of Scottish architects. The fairway bunker at hole 18 with a yardage of 230 ft is regarded as one of the longest bunker in Germany.

Despite the label fraud, a great place

Why label fraud? Because the place is a long way from Lake Constance and there is no lake view anywhere. And “a piece of Scotland” is also a slight exaggeration. I like playing links courses in Scotland and would attribute a maximum of 50% links attitude to this course here. On the one hand, the sea location is missing. But in my opinion, the course doesn't even qualify as a domestic links course. Only the pot bunkers can be compared to Scottish courses.
Then why 5 stars? I played the course (again) on 9/11/23. I find the layout of the individual lanes exciting and pleasantly balanced between fairness and challenge. At least for me with a higher HCP of 26.5.
The condition of the course was very good in every respect!
Both the reception and the teammates and members here on site were all very friendly and nice. I have not experienced any reservations towards guest players.
The price is reasonable for local conditions near Switzerland.
The landscape is beautiful; with a great view of the Hegau Mountains.
ME - especially if you combine this course with the "Schloss Langenstein" course next door - is definitely worth a golfing detour to this region.

Nice golf course with a spacious layout. No ball is lost - except on the second 9, when it goes down again.
The greens may look nice, but they don't stay on track and slow the ball down so much you can even hear it! Since you lose a lot of speed, the puts erupt uncontrollably and run as they will.
