The round on the Iffeldorf golf course began with booking a convenient tee time online. When we arrived, we didn't feel entirely welcome. The lady at the counter was obviously busy with more important things than serving the customer. After a long wait, we were then allowed to pay. The range was good even though it is very close to the federal highway. At the start tee we were greeted by someone who was very annoyed that the previous flight had not started on time. The course is OK but the holes feel very close together and unfortunately it is probably the norm for local members to take a shortcut from the 5th hole directly to the 15th hole. But that only really bothers you when you are on the 14th. Our overall impression was that the "crew" were generally very angry and that the course was very unspectacular. I can agree with the previous speakers and can only recommend the course if you are nearby, otherwise there are nicer courses, e.g. Hohenpähl.

We played the course at the end of July 2024. The basic quality is - as my previous writer mentioned - completely fine. Tees, fairways and greens are well maintained and in good condition. As far as the layout of the course is concerned, we found it a bit boring - you can't really remember a hole afterwards. If you are in the area, you can play the course. A detour is not worth it!

The place is slightly hilly / wavy. many lanes are (very) wide, it can take a lot of scattering - it's not too difficult for most people.
There are only rarely obstacles between the tee box and the green and if there are, then only a few trees or a few water.
The fairways were great, as were the greens, although the latter could use a little more undulation to make it more exciting.
lettering good. pro shop good. all the trimmings available, driving range available (1 & 2 €), fair green fee. restaurant ok
Conclusion: for 4 stars it lacks - despite good basic quality - difficulty and certain something. you can aim for the place when you're in the area, but you won't remember anything two days later.
For me a very solid 3-star rating.
