Characteristics
The best kept 18 hole golf course, provides for both Members and Guests a challenging and varied test of Golf at the foot of the Bavarian Forest.
The course at 6021 meters and Par 73, is slpit into two different loops of nine. The front 9 is a tough test, with tight fairways and many water hazards, that require the player to play strategically, the holes from 5 to 8 are particularly challenging but more so beutiful, playing around the large lake, requiring many risk and reward shots. The back 9, is longer, a little more open, providing a few more birdie chances. The last 3 holes, comprising of a Par 5, Par 3 and Par 4, can make or break your score, with water coming into play on all 3. The 17th is a small Par 3, with a small Island Geen, and the 18th requires a well hit drive over the lake towards the Clubhouse.
The Clubhouse provides great local dishes, good bavarian beer, and a fantastic view from the terrace looking over the 18th green. Members and guests are more than welcome to enjoy a relaxing time after round.

We booked using the Donau/inn voucher book as a template and 85 euros for two people were automatically debited without taking into account that the vouchers were only valid for 29.90 from Monday to Thursday. Unfortunately, we were very close to the time due to the road being closed, so we only noticed this later on in the round.

The place is beautifully laid out. Playfully challenging here and there but never too difficult. We were welcomed very friendly. We were allowed to spend the night in the parking lot with our motorhome and were also given a code for the washrooms, which could therefore be used around the clock. This is anything but usual and was noticed very positively. The food after the round in the club restaurant was very good and I would almost say a little value for money gem. We liked it very much. We will be back!
