The 18 holes (only 13 can play in time) are demanding and a challenge for the young, middle and experienced generation. The wind plays a very important role on the Wißberg, but was extremely restrained this Monday. The sand in the bunkers is light and loose. And... they were all just. Great... and not found a cigarette. Only... the holes on these manicured greens do not have to be. Alone out of respect and appreciation for the great and painstaking work of the Greenkeeper. No one wants to mend the hole before putting. Conclusion: fairways, bunkers and the greens are in top condition! Mr. Comtesse and his team were extremely friendly and accommodating. The members are friendly, as on the golf courses: Nahetal, Jakobsberg and on the Wendelinus, St. Wendel (Saarland). There is a halfway house, a hotel and a restaurant with a terrace in the direction of the vineyards and in addition a large outdoor area. It was a lot of fun to play in this great place for the first time. I'm looking forward to next time.
