Characteristics
The 18-hole-course Veltlinerland-Poysdorf developped on about 60 ha, in the middle of the undulating natural and vine landscape of the northern Weinviertel around Poysdorf- surrounded by vineyards and at one with nature. Next to the 18-hole-course there is also a public course, generous training courses with putting green, pitching and chipping area as well as a driving range.

Wine first than golf

I haven't been there for 7 years and not much changed. :D This course is village course in the middle of vineyards. Everything there is very close from the training areas to hotel. Very convenient place for golf and wine lovers. You will be warmly welcomed at reception, they are very friendly and helpful. Accommodation is also possible in nearby hotel. Now to the course do not expect anything special, its not top notch course as I said you need to enjoy the wine first. Quality is so so. You will observe many ground squirrels, they are funny but for sure not good for course. We get to course in the middle of summer deal, so pricewise its very cheap for Austria. Fairways were quite dry, with many spots. Cannot judge the greens much, because they were few weeks after maintenance. On the course there is only few interesting holes, I would say back nine is more preferable for me. For sure we will remember last hole since its a huge drive down to the clubhouse.

Worth a visit

Played the course in windy but sunny weather, very nice experience. Wonderful landscape, ripe apricots on the trees, bone-dry fairways had great lengths through the roll, great greens.
Little activity, it couldn't be more relaxed. The place is a bit remote, but the trip always pays off. The restaurant mediocre, excellent apricot dumplings. Fair prices. Successful day of golf!
