The Golf Club Gut Haseldorf is situated approximately 25 Km North West of Hamburg within the Marsh Lands of Haseldorf between the rivers Elbe and Pinnau.
The course leads through the open Marsh Lands of Haseldorf and is framed by the challenging and spacious water features with biotopes. The course has a skilful layout of bunkers which adds to the attractiveness and difficulty of the course, a strategic challenge for any golfer.
The Marsh Lands of Haseldorf are a guarantee for all year round complete green fairways and optimal Greens.

Beautiful place, challenging because it is narrow in some places and due to the fact that water ditches on the right, left or front of the place want to be played tactically. The driver is not necessarily the best choice even on long tracks. Diverse, quiet and well cared for. The overhead line on a few railways is a bit annoying. The view from the club terrace of the greens of 9 and 18 is something.

Everything has already been written, but as a guest player (play here 1 to 3 times a year) I always notice it positively, the secretariat is always friendly, as is the restaurant staff - at fair prices. And there is no better place to practice precise iron games and water hazards... If you hit the ball from the tee 220 meters and longer, you can leave the driver at home with a clear conscience. Almost all of the lanes are not only narrow and framed by water on both sides, but also often have frontal water hazards. In addition, the fairways slope sideways, so that even well-hit balls like to come to rest in the water to the side.
The layout looks a bit like "do-it-yourself". It often goes all over the place. Greens and tees are usually not that far apart. In some places, several tees / greens come together on a few square meters. The mighty electricity pylons and lines are also quite annoying.
When we visited on 9/6/20 the course - including the greens - was in a very well-maintained condition. Secretariat, Marshall and Gastro very friendly.
If you are looking for a well-tended course and a real challenge (slope> 140!) And can do without "shooting", this is the place for you. Long hitters who pull out the driver on every lane (except for par 3) will hardly have fun in Haseldorf.
