Characteristics

The golf course borders on the nature reserve of the juniper heath of Hörsteloe. The demanding play courses were skilfully integrated into a West-Muensterland park landscape. The 36 holes guarantee a varied game for both beginners and pros. The South-East-course received, as the first German course, the attribute "Premier European Golf Course" from the European Society of Golf Course Architects.

Sehr schön, edel und doch relaxed:)

Günstig geht anders aber freundliches personal, geflegte Plätze und schöne Grüns waren es wert.
A good way to get to know the area and enjoy some typical local countryside.
A yes from me.

Top golf, food not recommended

We were 2 times with the golf weekend arrangement in Ahaus. Each time we were enthusiastic about the 4 very different 9-hole courses. The golf course was always in very good condition.
The hotel was very welcoming with spacious rooms and friendly staff.
The 3 course dinner offered was very modest for a 4 star hotel. The first time they apologized for Corona and not enough staff. That was understandable, if not nice. The second time the same side dishes were served with meat and fish. That's not nice either, but the worst thing was that the vegetables were just soaked in water and didn't have any spices. After asking in the kitchen, we were only told that the vegetables were steamed and no one else had complained until now.
In addition, all four plates were prepared differently.
It doesn't help that the tables were beautifully set in white.
I think there is a need for action, because a recommendation is not possible.

Top Golf

Were there from Friday to Sunday with our AK50 team and also stayed in the hotel. So two reviews:
Golf courses: Absolute top courses. Very varied, never boring. Excellent condition for this time of year. Greens, fairways (except for the east course) and bunkers are a dream. All the water makes gambling exciting. The south is my favorite( 3 balls away (:). Then follows west, north and east. Organisation: despite the tournament on Saturday, no waiting times for the game before and after the game. The only drawback: we weren’t allowed to go to the clubhouse because of the tournament. Yes, you should have can tell beforehand.
It doesn't matter, then we spent the lunch break in the hotel with 1A waffles.
Speaking of the hotel: large, very clean rooms, super nice and steady staff. Breakfast/dinner very good. Some portions a bit manageable. But just ordered noodles and it was good.
So a straight five from me. Thanks to the team in Ahaus.
