All is relatve

If you compare this course with a fairly good rating to the Bonavista Golf course with the same rating, then you cant understand, why people give it a 4 or even 5.
I am a single handicap player and found this course quite boring.
The greens are quite good but all putrs are straight and boring...
Driving range is good, clubfacilities as well.

Great course, bad attitude.

Have to say its my favourite course in Tenerife. Excellent layout and very fair (no silly holes). Always in good condition and you would struggle to realise you are in the middle of a very busy resort, it's so quiet.
We had a group of 20 with a variety of handicaps and they all complimented it.
However, the staff are not very welcoming or accommodating. I know the course is very popular and perhaps they feel they will get customers regardless of their attitude.. which is probably true. However, when you spend 1000s of euro's bringing a big party, you would expect a better service.

Stylish facility with a feel-good character

At the beginning of September 2024, I played the course twice with my wife and two friends as part of our annual golf trip to Tenerife. We found the course to be in excellent condition. Both the tees and the fairways and greens were incredibly well maintained. Apparently something has happened here since January.

The energy of the course is wonderful, the clubhouse, pro shop and restaurant are among the best on the island. The holes are designed in a varied way, always flanked by trees and water hazards. Despite the proximity to the motorway and Las Americas, you have the impression of being in the middle of nature. You just feel at home.

It's not quite enough for 5 stars, as Abama Golf in particular is in a different league. However, the green fee is much more reasonable.

Besides Abama, this is the course on Tenerife that we always include in our golf trip. Highly recommended!
