Great course
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 17, 2016
I played 9 holes today and enjoyed the course immensely. The holes are not long, but you always need a good tee shot to make scoring possible.
Very scenic and great for a vacation game of golf.

A perfect example to destroy a golf course
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 11, 2015
The old 9 hole course was a real jewel. now, after the extension to 18 holes it's at best a "feel-good-course" for beginners. they cut the whole course in pieces, added space and put everything new together. result: in the new parts you face straight and wide fairways. some tee-boxes have artificial grass only. but the worst thing: all 18 greens were newly built, huge (some are 20 x 40m) and SQUARE!, they are loveless, flat like a pan and hard. it's allmost impossible to produce a pitchmark.
10 to 30m before the green, the grass is cut almost as short as the green. nothing there to break a ball. a long shot ball landing 20m in front of the green will most likely run all the way over the green. this is not playing golf, this is a lottery.
On the positive side: the course is well maintained and a very good restaurant can be found at the 19th hole.

A tip top place - special, but beautiful and in charming surroundings
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 15, 2024
We played the course in October 2024 in beautiful, warm weather. The course was in very good condition (fairways, greens and bunkers). Contrary to some reviews, the course is not that easy either. Especially from the white tees it is regularly quite tight and you don't always make it to the green in regulation. The angular greens and bunkers are unique, but the overall picture is harmonious. The view of the cliffs of Les Baux is great.

Great resort, mediocre space
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed November 21, 2022
If the food in the restaurant wasn't so good and the clubhouse so nice and the staff so friendly, then it would probably only be 2 stars. Although scenic, the course is fairly short and easy. Only a few holes are interesting from a golfing point of view. The rest is more reminiscent of a driving range with a flag. But maybe appealing for bad resort players, because you can't make many big mistakes here. You can get used to the tee mats at several holes due to the tees in the rocks. The right-angled greens and bunkers are also ok if you know that this was a landscape architectural requirement of the regional park in which the golf course is located. However, the condition is far from a requirement of good places. Fairways were consistently bad and mowed irregularly. Some of the greens are in disastrous condition with large holes and spots. The bunkers filled with dirt rather than sand.

Nice prospects but relatively harmless to play
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 26, 2022
The Domaine de Manville to which this place belongs is absolutely expensive, you can tell that with the audience, posh people but less good players. The tracks are moderately interesting, there are some better places in Provence. If you are used to a golf course adapting to the landscape and appearing natural, these rectangular bunkers and greens will teach you otherwise. Sometimes you get the impression that the place was originally planned for military riding...

To play nice
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 18, 2018
Simpler, for 75 euros too expensive space. It may be that this is the usual price level in France, this is my first time here. Bunker very hard, except for the 16 and 17 very easy to play space, yes the landscape is beautiful, golfing for me but rather secondary. I would have wished for the money rather a few more demanding tracks. But for so-called pleasure golfer sure a good choice.

Wonderful golfing experience
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 11, 2017
The place is embedded in the beautiful landscape and the alpilles. Typical Provencal flora combined with magnificent rock formations.
The place is also in excellent condition in the summer (early August). Fairways and greens are green in spite of the heat and also soft to play.
The greens and bunkers, which need some time to get used to, are due to careful intervention in nature, but do not interfere.
Great place and very friendly staff. Provencal enjoyment in the golfing experience. Full points

Golfing amidst olive groves and rocky countryside. Nice, quite demanding place. Greens and bunker something special. Rectangular and very hard. Very nice hotels and good restaurants in the area. An ideal holiday experience.

Very scenic
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed November 3, 2015
Golf amidst olive trees, landscaped very nicely, 4 reductions to rocky path on mats.
Bunkers and fairways well maintained. Also, the tees and greens are despite rocky subsoil in very good condition.
For sporty golfer is not the length of a challenge, but the obstacles on some fairways.
Nice vacation place, coupled with a very good hotel and friendly staff.

Beautiful 9-hole course
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 25, 2012
Not easy to find. Challenging course, both flat and "mountainous" fairways. embedded in the midst of a great natural landscape.
It can be very hot in the summer! Beautiful club house (converted old house) with cheap but good food with large deciduous trees. Very friendly service, both in the Secretariat and in the restaurant.
