Small but an experience with a view

Played on September 17th, 2024. The short 9-hole course (PAR 32/ 1x PAR5,3x PAR4 and 5x PAR3) is located about 4km south of Biarritz directly on the Atlantic. In addition to the 9-hole course, the course offers a huge driving range that can be played from four sides. From the parking lot you go down a few steps to the clubhouse with restaurant (not used). In the pro shop you pay your green fee to the friendly employee. There are tee times that you can book online, but even without a tee time you have a good chance of playing a round. The green fee in the season is currently a sporty €46 for the 9-hole round. To get to the first tee you have to walk halfway around the driving range from the clubhouse (about a 10-minute walk). Since holes 5 to 8 are below the course, which is located on a plateau, you can get a key for a cart free of charge in the pro shop for a deposit. This takes you from green 4 to tee 5 and after green 8 back up the hill to tee 9. There are enough carts available. The views of the Atlantic and the surrounding area/beaches from the elevated tees on holes 2,3, 4 and 9 are great. The tees onto the lower greens and fairways are also unique. There are one or two water hazards, but otherwise the course is relatively easy to play. Hole 2 can result in a blind second shot. Overall, the condition was fine. Hole 1 was very short, and the actual tees there were not usable. Higher HCs also play on the course and if you play frequently, the round takes around 2 hours. All in all, it is a unique experience to play this short course with a view, including of the huge old villa above the course. Don't forget your camera. It's not quite good enough for 4 stars.

Sea view!

Purely sporting point of view not a big hammer!
Quite short (usually par 3) tracks!
But the outlook towards the sea, the manicured greens were a loose round value and highly recommended!

The tone and arrogance in the restaurant leading to a hood star!

Still Recommended!
