The golf course is situated in the middle of an untouched natural landscape. I enjoyed one of the last "summer days" in autumn on the 9-hole course.
Beforehand there was a friendly and informative telephone conversation with the site manager. There was a super nice employee on site who was there to help and advise.
The course was very well maintained, relatively long but narrow, all on the slope. Really a very interesting and exciting challenge that you wouldn't expect from such a short course.
Well maintained and signposted, with neat bunkers, the course is really fun.
The activity on this afternoon was very manageable during the week, but as we all know, that doesn't detract from the fun of golfing.
The place is worth recommending and the staff on site are first-class.

Unfortunately, there was no mention of the condition of the pitch during the pre-registration. The green of hole 1 is blocked. Hole 3 completely closed due to construction work. You had to find the 4th tee somehow.
On hole 6 in front of the green there was complete dirt because there were wild animals on site. In itself a nice place, but if I had known this beforehand, I would have played somewhere else.
Due to the lack of space, a 10 euro discount was given on the gf, which was ok, but didn't save the day.
More transparency on the homepage about the condition of the place would be desirable.

Winterberger Platz is versatile and varied. The team and the contact persons are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant absolutely terrific. The place is super clean and well maintained. You can also switch off very well here because it is located in the middle of the beautiful Sauerland.
