It is one of the most beautiful golf courses in the region, designed and built by Donald Harradine. This region has made great progress in terms of offering over the past 30 years, from three ancestors to more than a dozen places. There are a few very strong among them, unfortunately also some that are not able to convince.
It's a very old club - 1930 - that has been at home on the Bodan Ridge since the mid-1960s. The course is in untouched nature - completely in the forest.
The evaluation - paragraph 2 - of the Oesigolfer fits with the additions: The greens that were okay, that were fun. The best hole is the 9, now a par 5. The hardest hole for us is the 13, not because of the length but because the landing zone is narrow - even for a wood 3. At the end, two par 5s are served - demanding.

Very well cared-for area - the "winter-spring" still has a lasting effect here.

We were here as part of our Bodensee Camper Tour and had called beforehand whether we could stand with the camper in the parking lot overnight when we were playing a round, which was okay. The green fee at the regular € 110 on weekends can be described as very steep, so make sure to check whether you get a reduction in the corresponding voucher books. The place is one of the "leading courses" and probably offers other "leading courses" correspondingly cheap green fees, as our campers neighbors told us.
At lane 1, after the tee, it goes steeply up the hill to the right, at lane 3 it goes downhill again, etc., so that several blind strokes over knolls have to be mastered on the round - knowledge of Paltz is a great advantage here. We didn't, which is why some balls stayed there. The course is sporty, but easy to run, the condition is great, the greens were incredibly fixed, but partly also slightly battered by footprints. Extremely difficult to read in any case. The score was right, but it was still fun. After the round you could take a shower (despite Corona), which is no longer possible on every seat (but is important, especially when you are out and about with your camper).
The club secretariat was extremely friendly, thanks again for the nice logo ball!
We visited the gastro in the evening, the salads with turkey and whitefish were very tasty. The terrace there was very well attended, especially by members, no wonder given the pretty view of the lake.
Conclusion: I personally find the course too expensive for the full green fee, but with a corresponding reduction I would like to play it again (especially because I would now place a number of blind strokes differently)
