Characteristics
The course is situated only a few kilometres north of Walldürns, in a region of the Forest of Odes in Baden called "Madonnenländchen". It consists of a demanding 18-hole course and a 9-hole course. The scenically beautiful location allows great views on the hills of the Forest of Odes and Spessart. Both courses only have slight altitude differences and can be played on foot without problems. An old and new stock of trees as well as natural hazards make the courses varied.

My first time playing golf in Germany, this course along with its facilities and Management are first class. The layout of the course is superb with long par 3s and interesting dog leg par 4s. The Hospitality was brilliant.

Very friendly welcome, smooth booking for the next day, despite a major tournament.
The courses are varied and the layout of the course is well thought out. The club is probably about 30 years old, so there are plenty of trees to provide shade. We played on a very hot day and were very grateful for a course that was not built on a field.
Overall a great experience.
I would like to play here again.
Unfortunately one star deducted for the range that is under construction.
The dining rooms were very nicely decorated. We had small meals, both of which were good.

Basically, I really appreciate the golf course. It is very quiet, varied and also challenging. Until a few years ago, the Progolf Tour was a guest.
Unfortunately I found the place in August 2023 in a shockingly bad condition. The range has been closed for weeks for renovations, the tees are porous and poorly maintained, the greens are bumpy and riddled with mushroom holes. The fairways were also in poor condition compared to other courses in the area. Overall, it looks as if the greenkeeping has neglected work on the substance.
Due to the location and the weather, a toxic mixture has probably arisen for the place. Autumn and spring wet and muddy, the summers too hot with no fairway irrigation.
