Characteristics

This course spreads out at the foot of the Grandes Murailles in an altitude of 2.000 m in slightly sloping terrain, which however doesn't show and crossings or other deraning characteristics. The green of the routes contrasts sharply against the glaciers of the Grandes Murailles at the foot of the Cervino, which domineers the valley with the eternal snow of the Furgen and the Plateau Rosa.

Water masses destroy great place

Massive rainfall has destroyed holes 7,8, 9,15 and 16 in the form of flash floods at the beginning of July 2024. After just one week, countless excavators and trucks are already clearing away the completely destroyed stream beds, which have spread tons of rubble over the remains of these holes. But no one here knows when the course will be restored - probably not in the 2024 season.
The remaining holes offer an impressive panorama below the Matterhorn. Nice to play.

We wish the club a quick restart with 18 holes restored.
