I met Mr. Charter on a plane to Capetown on September 15,2019 and he invited me to play golf with him at Durbanville, I really enjoyed it and will come back on my next trip.
I am a lefty and there were no lefty clubs. As I was ready to tee off a Mr. Ron Mckenzie showed up with all the lefty clubs I needed except a putter. That was fine too. My name is Norman J Clement I am both a pharmacist and dentist, I live and work in Tampa Florida USA, I am a member of the Carrollwood Country Club, in Tampa Fl.
I've told everyone in America about the Great experience I had at Durbanville Country Club however next time I'm bringing my own Clubs I will send pics

We have seldom felt so welcome from the first moment - really remarkable!
The place is not too difficult on slightly undulating terrain. fairways, bunkers and greens were in very good condition. Unfortunately, the tree population is still a little young - in about 10 years, the place will make a more sophisticated impression. Obstacles on the way are limited to bunkers and water hazards that are sometimes very difficult to see.
The greens are unfortunately pretty flat. If these were more demanding, just under 4 stars would look out. but that's just the three of them.
The clubhouse makes a good impression, changing rooms and toilets are top-clean.
Nevertheless, we will certainly play the place again on occasion.

The place is unfortunately only average. A few beautiful and challenging tracks, otherwise a meadow with few trees. Scenic rather mau - for it on all 4 sides of streets surrounded, so not really really quiet.
Technically a single constantly recurring motive: hit the ball long and as straight as possible - done. Tricky are really only the greens - moderately undulating, but quite fast.
Regrettably, the holes will probably only be changed over for Mandela's birthday - the resulting "volcano" effect means that even putts played in the middle of the hole will break away uncontrollably a few centimeters from the finish.
A cart is not needed if you are not completely unsportsmanlike.
Pleasant - the very friendly ProShop! Strikingly nice people there and there was another birdie book for free.
Conclusion: check off, you can play, but you do not have (again). 2 stars, but would be synonymous with better manicured greens a maximum of 3 in it. (In the "Golf Bear Ranking": 4 out of 10 points.)
