If you pass on this course because it's only 9 holes, you missed an opportunity to play in a special place. It's seaside but not really a links, as it's perched an the cliffsover the water. You must make an effort to get there as it's not on the way to anywhere.

Until now, the unique La Toja 9-hole course on the "oyster bank island" of the same name in Galicia was my absolute number 1 in my 9-hole course ranking. But Cruit Island Golf has knocked my Spanish number 1 off the throne! What a links / top cliff course! Dramatic courses in almost unreal nature, a truly unique golf experience! The small clubhouse is typical, the people are very friendly as always and the approach is a scenic highlight! Cruit Island is a 5-star course!
