Demanding par 66
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 24, 2019
Despite the par 66 with only one par 5 the course is not only quite natural and very beautiful but highly demanding. Several fairways are narrow or parted by high rough, easy to lose your ball forever. Distance control and club selection is essential, the wind can be challenging, but when you manage all that it´s a really great experience... and a great practicing possibility for any pro. The look of the seaside is stunning. Highly recommended.

A charming place

I love that course, a lot of "bang for the buck". I wish we could bring it with us home to Sweden.

Corballis Golf Club

I played Corballis with a friend of mine in May. The two of us went on a short golf excursion to the County Dublin area to play, and found Corballis on the web prior to departure. It looked intriguing on the website and we were not disappointed. While possibly a little unfair (several blind shots... in fact more blind than not, I believe!), it was an absolute blast and the scenery lovely! We did have a yardage book which helped but a forecaddie or experienced Corballis player would have been better. I would love to have another crack at it in the future. I would highly recommend playing if you go there. Just enjoy the round and don't get too hung up on score or where some shots may end up. The green fees were well worth the experience at around 25 Euro for a weekend and less on weekdays.

Great links course experience
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 13, 2023
August 2023 played and loved it. Many tracks right through the hilly dunes. Often hit into the unknown and only once approached tactically, especially from the blue tee. Superb views of the beach and sea with Howth and Ireland's Eye islet. Only four stars because no gastronomy.

Simple club with a good price-performance ratio
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed November 15, 2021
A real link, a bit nooks and crannies with a mediocre layout, easy maintenance and a "shack" as a clubhouse without gastronomy. It was still a lot of fun when the weather was nice and with a green fee of € 35 including trolley!
Nevertheless, with knowledge of neighboring systems such. E.g.
The adjacent The Island no more than 3 * in it.
the bordering Iceland

Great links course
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 30, 2021
My son and I played the course in the summer of 2019. The fairways are hard and dry - just as you would expect on a links course. Sometimes you play in the middle of the dunes; sometimes you don't know where the landing zone is the first time. Mostly great views of the sea. In the second game we lost fewer balls...
And we will definitely play there again. Price-performance ratio: great. Funnily enough, bathers sometimes shuffle across the dunes. Missing gastronomy? After the round, exhausted, we drank a coffee from the machine in the slipstream of the clubhouse. More was not possible. As is more common in Ireland, there is no driving range, but a tee network. Okay to warm up.

Currently, bad condition
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 4, 2018
We played the course on 29.06.18. The fairways were in terrible bad condition, very dry (it had rained very little in June June). At many fairway the flag does not look and has to hit the Unbekanntp in many places. Greens very hard and pecked many birds.

Top Link course for a low green fee price
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 31, 2017
I played the course in October 2017, but for reasons of time only the first 11 lanes.
And they were just awesome. Relatively short tracks but difficult in a great landscape.
The course was recommended to me by the representative of Cubs to Hire.
Super Link Course at an amazing green fee price.
Newly renovated clubhouse with well maintained sanitary facilities.
I can only recommend the place. From Dublin Airport, it takes only 15 minutes to reach by car.

Great Golf Enjoyment
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 4, 2017
Outstanding short left-hand place at a very low price. Wonderful dune course in top condition. We (Hcp 6 and 13) were on the island for the 4th time and played the course already 3 times. The greens were outstanding and also the small clubhouse was now renovated. Changing rooms and showers are new. The fact that there is no gastronomy, did not bother us at all. On the last tracks there is a bit of a cross, which has not affected our golfing experience.

Front 9 top Back 9 flop
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 6, 2017
The front 9 holes are absolutely the dream (left pure). Really nice in the dunes with a dream view of the sea. At Back 9, fairways are mostly played cross-way. That means flying balls everywhere. Very dangerous. Also the holes are rather boring and rather in the Landesinneren. Price performance okk to the import, but not more!

Windy, superschöne challenge on the sea
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 15, 2017
After a nice reception we went on the way to conquer the leftcourse world and were not disappointed on the first 6 holes. (At the back the tracks "faier" - less links for long distances, where you can also unpack the driver.) On a very windy day with little visitors it was a pleasure to play the tracks partly embedded in overgrown dunes, Interesting also the intersecting tracks, the partly blind markings and the hard fairways on which the ball likes to jump in unforeseen directions. Some balls we have lost, but others found :). A great place - you like to play again ... - especially because of the view of the sea...

Price-performance ratio great!
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed November 27, 2016
This beautiful location near the sea is an experience and for this attractive price, great! A little less demanding, for me still a challenge and a very nice experience. For this price a must, as there are other places hard to justify their price. Playing golf in Ireland, as simple and straightforward, I did it myself dreamed and fulfilled here. I can highly recommend the place even if there are differences, of course to the expensive places, such as simple or spartan clubhouse. That's what my gaming experience not limited at all.

A dream by the sea
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 15, 2016
A dream by the sea We were very positively surprised about the real super beautiful natural golf course.
The course forms for any golfer real challenges and captivates by the always magnificent view of the open sea Exciting course the blows that blind punches in hopes you find his ball!
Day before we played golf Portmarnock, The comparatively unspectacular and simple.

Incredible Value: unbeatable!
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 1, 2014
We played during a Corballis Links Golf weekend in Portmarnack: together with Iceland Golf Course, Portmarnack Course Championships and Portmarnack Links Course. Corballis it is by far the most exciting and most mysterious. Deeply embedded in the dunes. With many blind holes. Incredibly good greens. A world apart. And all this for only 16 €! Simply sensational. Rory McIlroy apparently trained here. Tiger Woods had played already here. The place is, however, not for beginners. Since you have already just play, otherwise the ball clear. The next-exciting place of the above is the Iceland club. The two Portmarnock places are relatively harmless, however. Corballis but is "True Links"!

Tricky Links Course
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 17, 2012
A special feature on the seafront with many blind shots. Driver can get stuck! Fairway meet and have fun. Short & tricky, a true links course for about 20 pounds.
