Characteristics
Founded in 1990, this course covers an area of more than 60 hectares, bordering the Costa Brava and overlooking the Natural Park of les Gavarres . It allows you to enjoy spectacular views of the sea and the mountains. Club Golf d’Aro generates the perfect golf contrast element for a getaway to the Costa Brava with a marked historical, socio-cultural and gastronomic character. The course is a spectacular 18-hole, par 72 championship course.

A perfect golf day with sea views

Just 15 minutes by car from Platja d'Aro, this golf course offers a unique playing experience, thanks to its location and holes with sea and mountain views. Fairways, bunkers and greens have been improved. It is essential to end the day with a lunch on the terrace of Restaurant Forat 19: dishes and wines of first quality.

Condition of the course

We played golf D, Aro on the 24th September 2018 and was horrified to the courses condition. I am on the course committee at our local golf club. In the UK we have had a fabulous hot, dry summer. Not good for the fairways and putting greens. We concentrated on looking after the greens and bunkers and did not cut the fairways as often. Could you consider doing this at Golf D, Aro. This course with its fabulous views is too good to be allowed to be as bad as it is just now. If it does not improve the future does not look good. Bad news travels fast. Please do not let this happen.

this course has it all: spectaculare views on top of the mountain, quality, very good greens, fairways, bunkers. it's fun and challanging to play. if you happen to be in the vicinity, don't miss it. and the 19th hole offers good food.
