The club makes a sporty impression. The course is very flat and very easy to run on. There are few surprises here.
Hole 3 is a beautiful pair of 3s, down to the sea. The greens are very large and quite slow. But also very rolling.

The golf course is right on the water but unfortunately shared by the rails of the suburban train in a hilly area on the southern (western) edge. Yesterday I had let me give a start time against 15 clock for today, I could not follow for various reasons. The very (!) Friendly lady at the desk gave me a new start time without discussion. The club house is located on a small hill seen from the parking lot and was well attended. The parking lot is closed with a large gate that can only be opened by pressing a button. Park fees are charged, what is remarkable in Sidges.
After a few blows to the rather run-down driving range I went to the first tee. Therefore you have to cross a small road rarely traveled.
I wanted to play because of the advanced time only 9 holes, which turned out to be a good choice. The fairways are all brown and mushy part and in a very bad state, the fifth to the seventh hole was just as ok. Up to 5 Hole you can hear the surf. Unfortunately, and very often noisy with a lot of noise from the suburban train through the golf course. If you're unlucky, you will be disturbed several times of moving trains on the Par 5 (9 hole). I can not believe that the system is in the summer in better condition when the heat beats down on the grass for weeks.
Unfortunately, my first impression and positive (club house and office, the only reason I give three stars) is not confirmed on the course.
