Characteristics
The club is situated behind the beautiful Montorfano-Lake in the sunny Brianza in an altitude of 450 m, where the landscape reminds of the one in Scotland. Even in the greatest heat of August you can play here quite comfortably. The course was built in 1926 by Peter Gannon. The 18 holes cross chestnut, birch and stone pine woods. The course is considered one of the most varied, but also one of the most difficult par 69-courses in Europe.

We played on August 18,2024. The greenes are in terrible condition. There are several gaps on them, brown spots((( Also fairways and heritages are not well maintained. The karting tracks are all in ditches and potholes. The price is high and did not meet expectations((

Played this course on May 23rd, 2024 in constant rain. However, the course was in top condition. From the fairways to the greens, there was nothing to complain about. Some bunkers had suffered a bit, as had some of the paths we covered with the electric trolleys, and all of this was due to the constant rain that day. It would not occur to me to rate the course poorly because of these few individual points, because golf is played in the great outdoors. The reception was extremely friendly, right down to the caddy master. Great old clubhouse with a restaurant that invites you to linger. Certainly one of the best courses in Italy, not far from Como, and I would recommend anyone in the area to play this course. There were two of us, and we met 4 nice Canadians who waved us through straight away. We enjoyed playing here and did not meet any irritable moaners.
