It used to be a royal estate and spreads over 1.350 in the mountains of Canavese. The golf club of Turin is 70 years ikd, but moved to La Mandria some time ago. The hunting ground that once belonged to the Savoy royal family is now a nature reserve, we play golf here - great - on four courses!!!
They were very grateful for the wet from above, unfortunately it became a bit much in the days before our visit. As a result, the playing conditions were far from perfect. The ground was partly wet, but far less deep than in Royal Roveri, which is right next door, here they were already able to work on most of the areas with the machines - we were surprised...
Blue Corso
John Morrison - a very polyvalent person - worked here. His curriculum vitae is impressive, as an athlete (soccer, criket and golf), as an Air Force pilot, studying law and history, as a golf course designer - the successes as well...
He was a partner and director in Harry Colt's company, from his personal hand about a dozen courses were created, all but one have received the highest consecration!!!
Marco Groze has further developed the original course into a 27-hole facility.
Graham Cooke did some significant work on these holes during the 1999 Italia Open.
Great course, is the undisputed favorite of the two, it is also the core of the entire golf course, the Giallo Corso leads around the outside.

In some places you are in the immediate vicinity of Royal Roveri - very close - separated only by the water.
Both courses are about the same difficulty to play - the greens were very easy to play - are in slightly hilly terrain and lead through ancient trees.
All employees earn very good grades here!!!
You can give both five stars for the layout - rate the Giallo Corso higher than the Allianz Bank Corso in Roveri. The maintenance is still a bit behind here, but more advanced than in Roveri, there are four stars
We close both eyes a little and award five stars!!!
It shows once again that our earlier grading system 1-6 was better, could fine-tune...
Seems we've hit the weather window, towards the end of the week we're forecasting significant rainfall again!!!

Played mid-March 18 at 18 degrees and sun... greens super! the rest due to the heavy rain the days before okay. Layout very nice (the back 9 of each course were open) Staff very friendly. Waschplatz a bit small and now for this club not what you imagine... due to the mentioned wet the trollies had to be cleaned completely which was a bit difficult...
