Very nice area. Golf course maintained properly

I played red / white.
Both courses have been well maintained and unless a shower on the 9th all has been fine.
Red has been more challenging with a lot of bunkers. White is nice to play but easy.
Generically a course for low scores in a really nice area.
The service and the food in the club house is excellent.
The hotel is worth a stay. The garden is beautyful!
So all together worth to visit.

Stayed and played at San Vigilio over a few days. The golf course was challenging for all levels of golfers in our party and was in great condition, although we found the greens surprisingly. Only negative was rather poor service in the clubhouse restaurant.

Played the three 9-hole courses in two days.
The Benaco Red Course was by far the least well-maintained course. Fairways were riddled with bare patches, extremely muddy, and it had also rained a lot. Very hard bunkers, if they weren't already waterlogged.
Yellow Course Solferino: Course also very deep, the fairways appear to have been freshly seeded and will certainly be good until spring/summer.
San Martino White Course: Extremely high levels of standing water, with apparently no drainage on all three courses, resulting in a "muddy meadow." Fairways may be better in dry weather than on the red course, but course maintenance is poor.
Greens generally quite okay. Water comes into play on the course from time to time, so strategic play is extremely important depending on the situation!
Overall, a course for long hitters, as many par 4 holes, especially on the red and yellow courses, are very long.
