Enjoyed this immensely. The Grouse course was so impressive to start with. The only bad thing was the wind. It was incredibly strong and made what was already a very difficult challenge even more so. The Guadiana was very different but really enjoyed it too. Lovely clubhouse. Great food and very inexpensive.

Lucky for me, I only chose it because of its proximity to the airport because the plane was leaving later. The courses are varied, green in the stone landscape with no houses around it and no space to go back and forth, you explore the area "on your own". Great views, for example of the river bordering Spain, Ayamonte, etc. It goes up and down slightly. No problem with a carry bag. But I saw that some people played 27 holes with a cart, OK, that gets tough. What I really liked, in contrast to Espiche, is that the fairways mostly ran in "valleys". So even close hits to the edge stayed on the fairway. You swing without fear, and that's why you swing straight and the driver is fun.
For men, several times > 100 m? Carry over water, etc. This is not for beginners. Nicely hidden elevated tees. You often didn't see the previous players until after putting. The clubhouse, showers, etc. were OK.
