Just do it

If you love links golf just play it and while you are in the area play Connemara ISLES as well. That will give you 18 holes of links golf you'll not forget.

'Hidden Secret'
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 26, 2014
Am writing this review as a summer member of this very special course on the spectacular Dingle Peninsula. Lately visitors from Europe have described our course as a 'hidden secret'. We are surrounded with spectacular scenery with mountains, sea and lake straddling our fabulous first hole. 400 swans populate this lake and we have thousands of the very famous natterjack toad receiving protection in our ponds. A very sincere Kerry welcome awaits you in our brand new purpose built clubhouse. We have also been described as the best 9 hole course in the Munster region so please try it and play twice! I guarantee that you will not be disappointed and will return!

Necessarily play!

The links course is a real challenge. In any case, it was for me (;-)). A 9-hole course that has it all. It was great fun. Unfortunately no time for a second round.
Fantastic view, fairway and greens well-kept and the welcome by Fiona (golf shop) and the perennial club champion (outfit completely pink, including flip-flops) very warmly and without any golf star airs and graces! The clubhouse simple but beautiful.
A round of golf that I will certainly not forget!

Take enough balls!
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 18, 2019
The course is right in the dunes, is really beautiful and devilishly heavy, at least at HCP 31.
Strong wind, small greens, narrow fairways and high reeds everywhere, which should not be flat-rolled for reasons of decency.
At several tees one plays from hill to hill, so 100 to 150 m over rough on a green of 15m diameter, around which besides sand also also rough and high reed is. Beautiful.
Unfortunately, I had to play alone, which had the advantage that I had to hear no comments about 6 lost balls.
The clubhouse is small and cozy and the locals themselves say the space is difficult.

Ordinary Course

Is advertised in the Albrecht-Golfuhrer with vouchers 2 for1 and 20%. This was not recognized in the Secretariat; That does not make a good impression on the practice of the Albrecht Golführer!!!
9 hole linkscourse. Through heavy windfall difficult to play, many dunes and high rough, some blind holes, some greens on elevated plateaus. Demanding and not easy to play.

Links Golf right on the beach
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 25, 2015
There are indeed links courses but a little off the lie from sea / beach. This place is located right in the dunes by the sea. Who is a fan of it, should play here. We played with Irish people who had bought a 10 green fee card 90 €. Price / performance unbeatable. We arrived as so often here in Ireland, without a reservation and were able to 30 'go later. The clubhouse is very simple. The course will be probably extended to 18 holes. My subjective judgment: great links course

Sophisticated
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 20, 2015
The course is not without it and absolutely top starts calm and flat but that is changing. Haircuts fully exposed to the wind and paths between the dunes where a high ball flight will be punished immediately.
Games without a reservation was not a problem
The clubhouse is i. O the changing rooms very pleasant
Convinced the location of the place layout and the friendliness
Have little 9-hole courses played were so interesting

An experience
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 12, 2015
An affordable Links golf course where each of the 9 holes shows other perspectives. We were fortunate to be able to play this course as one imagines himself Irish golf on the coast: sun - sand - dunes - beautiful views of the sea and the corresponding wind here just one of them.

It was just great to play this course - breathtaking!
The location indescribably beautiful, beautiful greens, everything was great!
They have 18 holes to € 30, the offer - and then played in Tomasins bar (quite excellent powered) - (incl. dinner for € 15).
We can only recommend this place.

Great Place
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 21, 2011
Clubhouse and conditions are simple, who needs it here pompous or noble, is wrong here - but the place!
Hole 1 is nestled in a lake, mountains in the background provide a wonderful Irish views. The other holes are often made very creative and very varied between lake and sea: small chasms that in Ireland, in my experience almost mandatory par 3 over a pond. Later, a discount comes in the dunes, which offers a completely different atmosphere than 1 hole: the surf of the Atlantic Ocean in the background. All in all a very successful course with a wonderful nature experience. So how golf should be.
