cams hall golf course
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 30, 2012
walking in to the club house gives you the wow factor, the fairways are in pristine condition and the greens are undulating giving you plenty to think about. only part that i wasnt happy with was, hole directions in the middle off the course which can be confusion att times but overall very good course and value for money.

Super fast greens

A small tip in advance: on the club website you can only tee times for 2,3 or 4 people book. I booked a day before online with 10% discount for 2 people, even though I was alone. On matchday I described the case in the secretariat, they know the problem, and so I had to pay only for one person. Just over 24 pounds, an absolute snap for the place. Be sure to go to the putting green before the round. The greens are hellish fast, but very sprint. It was really fun. Tees and fairways were great, everything was very well maintained. Bunkers were deep, but easy to play. I would have liked more views of the creek, was only possible on a few lanes. The restaurant I could not test unfortunately, the kitchen had just closed. I was sent to the Cams Mill Pub, about an 8-minute walk at the entrance to the huge Cams Hall Estate property. There you can eat and drink very well and has a great view of the creek ;-)

When you're in the corner, quite ok, too expensive for us for 37 pounds on a Monday.
