golf on rolling hills

a very nice golf course on hilly grounds. many holes are difficult and challenging to play. lots of old grown trees, excellent bunkers some water hazards and very well kept greens. it's an old course just outside (east) of cape town. if you like to battle sloping fairways, give it a chance!
to me, anytime again.

Very interesting, but…

Played on March 17,2025, this is a very varied and interesting course. However, the fairways are in very poor condition and in need of maintenance. The paths are often difficult to navigate, and often consist of washed-out dirt roads.
Bunkers: very varied, some with numerous small stones. Greens are slow and bumpy. Signage to the holes could definitely be improved.
The reception was also not very friendly and very taciturn when asked questions.

Nice place in the city

Unfortunately it rained and we had enough wind... so there weren't many players on the pitch.
The course is varied, well-maintained, the greens are relatively fast despite the rain and the signs are ok for those unfamiliar with the course.
We used a cart for the hilly tracks, which is also recommended.
Fortunately, the road traffic (street circuit) wasn't that disruptive and some of the paths for the carts are obviously being renewed at the moment, for which we deducted one star overall.
