Characteristics
When you drive from Milan over the autobahn in the direction of Como, you'll come after about 20 km to the beautiful country club of Barlassina. The 18-hole-course spreads over undulating terrain, through forests of stone pines, oaks, poplars and robinias. This course desinged by the architect Harris was later on rebuilt by Morrison. The course is designed for all players of all strengths and invites after the circuit in the generous club house.

The condition:
Currently, the fairways and greens are in good to very good condition. However, everything around them is damp and clayey. Some of the paths are really muddy. Bunkers and tee boxes are mostly OK.
The space:
Beautifully embedded in a great park landscape with lots of trees, which surprisingly rarely come into play. Everything is flat and without water hazards, but with plenty of bunkers.
The tempo:
We were completely alone on the site (in perfect weather) and therefore cannot comment. However, there are one or two places where you could overtake or take a shortcut.
The attachment:
A little old, but still stylish and clean. Large parking lot, which you reach after driving through a large (closed...) gate.
The staff:
Very friendly, and efficient in the restaurant. Everything was OK.
We will definitely come here again.

We spent 3 days in the hotel and on the golf course at the beginning of December. The golf course is flat, varied, no water, but all greens are massively 'protected' by bunkers. Personnel cleaning the equipment. That's how fun it is! Condition very good at this time of year, top greens. Very nice staff, great food. Courteous management. The buildings are rather older, rooms are slightly renovated, clean and OK. We'd love to come back.
