We wanted links golf and we got links golf. Lots of water and lots of wind, mostly from the front. Four times rain gear on and off. It wasn't always easy to see where the fairways were on the tee boxes. The ball flight was kind to me. Lanes 15 and 16 are spectacular with a magnificent view of the ocean. For the first 9 holes we were back in tele tabby country. The back 9 seemed easier to us.

The third day of the Donegal Links Classic Open 2018 took us to Ballyliffin. Everything was already in preparation for the Irish Open 2018. Even the journey from Rosapenna to Ballyliffin was great. The landscape just amazing impressive. We played the Glashedy course. I found him beautiful and really challenging. The greens are quite heavy and the raff - oh dear, you need teammates with good eyes. The views of the sea are breathtaking and make you stop more often. As always in Ireland - also here so lovable people. A great experience.

Very nice clubhouse with a great view of both places, very nice people everywhere.
