Will visit again for sure.

Great Course with some challenges
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 6, 2016
Attighof golf club is truly a jewel landscape wise. A very beautiful course with great surroundings. It plays very tough because of the many tilted fairwas, you definitely have to be able to control and shape your ballflight. Very often a good shot ends up in the rough or worse, so it´s not for the faint of heart. On the other side, if you seek the challenge, it´s a great course that teaches you a lot about the game yout got... or not!
So if you are around check it out, i will be back!

Fun, pretty, and fast

Tee off went fast and easy, as did the rest of the match. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Greens were in decent shape, as were the fairways. Not too crowded, and had some wonderful views of the surrounding area. Very good value for the money.

The course also shows its most beautiful side in late summer!
Thank you for the wonderful day of golf - starting with the friendly reception, top driving range to practice in, great tees and fairways. The greens are relatively fast and absolutely true to track. The great day of golf was rounded off on the terrace with a view of green 18!
We will be back :-)

Great place in a beautiful landscape
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 17, 2021
The Attighof is always worth a round of golf and feels a bit like a vacation day!
It starts with a friendly welcome when you register. The place and the greens are always very well maintained and the scenic panorama is great. Due to the slope, the game is quite challenging, but great fun.
The day is rounded off on the terrace with a good meal in a beautiful setting.

Vacation day with exercise and fun
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 9, 2021
We played Attighof for the first time - as part of a motorhome golf tour - on October 2,2021 - together with two other guests who knew the course very well. (Thanks to both of them for the hints and tips!) The place is actually very quiet, which contributes to relaxation and which made a very quiet overnight stay in the parking lot possible for us.
What we liked:
The employees in the secretariat are very friendly and competent and gave us a nice welcome.
The food in the restaurant tasted very good to us and offers variety in the burger and schnitzel monotony: Indian is not often represented in golf gastronomy. The service was great too!
But now to the place: We found the place exciting, sometimes exciting, in places eating balls and very entertaining.
If you are not training for the Ironman, you should treat yourself to a cart, the climbs are partly "cardiological".
The tracks are varied and sometimes really tricky, but we didn't find them unfair. The fact that we, as a flat country, have our problems with sloping positions, cannot be blamed on the place. The condition was very good, the greens loyal and fast.
What didn't we like? I really can't think of anything! We'd love to come back again.

Very nice facility in the Hochtaunus
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 24, 2021
We played with Leisure Breaks on 9/24/21. With the exception of the aerated greens, the entire facility was in top condition. Due to the constant inclines, the course is a real challenge for all levels of play. Creative aiming, ie calculating the roll after landing, is of crucial importance here. The harder the fairways, the more challenging it gets.
We met very friendly people throughout. Guests are welcome here.
We were on foot; would take a cart next time despite being in good shape. Especially on the second nine (e.g. after lane 14) there are steep inclines.
Those who like hilly tracks, doglegs, forest aisles and blind tees / approaches will get their money's worth here. We really enjoyed the day at the Attighof.

05/31/2021...
Monday, one of the "Happy Golf Days" of the Attighof, GF only 39, - € :-)
Since I had a 25 € -GF voucher, it cost me 14 € + 30 € cart (EVERY CENT WORTH!) For me it was a "Back to the roots" ;-) 1995 I made my PE-card here (still with the old layout( today's 15 was then the 1).
My personal impressions:
Check-in is very friendly and open as well as uncomplicated, as is renting the cart.
Off we went: According to my feeling, the 1 is the only track that is still "level", the remaining 17: UP and DOWN, VISIBLE or BLIND.
For everyone who likes slopes, often blind shots, parkland character, bunkers and very directional greens: Play at Attighof! :-)
The greens were really great; very directional and very well maintained!
The enjoyment of the quiet nature cost me a mere 8 balls today, and the feeling of "course license" spread again ;-) PRECISION is required here and KEEP THE BALLS IN AN EYE (due to the inclines on 90% of the fairways, jumping is everyday life ...) My miracle today was lane 13, the ball was WEG, despite landing just before the crossroads in front of the green, WEG! The 13 is a highlight, it feels like the green is 30m below the fairway.
Conclusion:
Unchanged weird club ;-), demanding and challenging, higher handicap must surely crack it first. With me he cracked one thing today: my frustration limit ;-)

Golf game with brains
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 5, 2020
This golf course is always worth a trip. If the first lane is more or less straightforward, you should know exactly which side of the fairway you should play on the following lanes. Mindless shooting is of little help here. The concentration needs to be kept high permanently. (Heavily) modulated greens help ensure that the hole is far from being won. Today these were fast and on track. The fairway suffered in some places, but otherwise the course was in good condition. A certain level of fitness is also an advantage, as it goes up and down permanently. Anyone who wants to play golf in a sporty and demanding manner is in good hands here. The reception was impeccable and the food in the clubhouse was very tasty.

Been there again for two years. Partly difficult holes, tight tees, by far not easy to play... but that's what makes it all, right? Even, flat and the motorway is no fun in the long run...
After the dry weeks we were very surprised, the course was in top condition... fairways green, carpet-like, greens with a 1 *.
Plus the Happy Golf Day, € 39 for guests, Mondays and Fridays... we'll be back!

Peace and pure nature
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed July 21, 2019
Yes, you can find something at the Attighof. And it's like always: on the one hand and on the other.
The place is a bit away from a highway, but it also has its peace. On the other hand, the place is located in the Taunus, so it is quiet, but also "mid-mountain". It goes up and down (at an angle it is also regular), but you do not have a fairway highway that just go back and forth boring. The tracks are very varied, you never play 2x in a row in the same direction, so that in wind another variable (in addition to the Ondulierungen the terrain) is added.
The course is never boring, he always keeps new surprises ready. On my last lap it was extremely good / faithful greens without pitch marks.
Nevertheless, a few words of caution: You should not play his first round at the Attighof in midsummer, because condition should have the players - and as a long-hitter one or the other extra ball, because the balls like to jump "diagonally" - but that's part of it, we are in the Taunus and not on the coast.
You play two loops a 9 holes, all tracks are separated by forest and hedges, so you can already get the impression to be alone on the way.
I can not say anything about the gastronomy, just to rate them because of a white beer after the round would not be fair. But the rooms are quite large, you can sit inside and outside, partly overlooking the green of the 18th The very broad and even range with ordinary / new balls should be mentioned. Something is rare! The putting green and a pitching / bunker practice facility can also be found - all big enough so that even 20 exercise-mad people do not get in each other's way.
I'd like to come back, but rather towards autumn, when the many trees are colorfully colored - then the place is even more fun!

My 1 in the Taunus!
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 21, 2018
I always like to come here: So also on 20.05.2018: Very nice people in the office at the telephone, uncomplicated reservation for 8:20. Keys from the golf cart and towel were ready before opening the reception.
The place presents itself for the season in excellent condition, these fairways would like to others as greens... in front of us and behind us to see no one, absolute peace and (yes, as the great team maybe nothing for) dream weather. The tracks as always (and you really do not get used to it) varied, although the slopes are of course not for everyone. But everyone can...
The green fee with 49, - / weekdays and 69, - / weekend is ok, especially as playing with Leasurebreaks on the weekend is possible. I have already played worse places for the green fee. And since our dog was also allowed to play the round, the term "successful Sunday round" is more than adequate.
After the wonderful round there was a break on the terrace overlooking the 18th green, plus a cold drink and a delicious meal from German-Italian-Indian cuisine.
Conclusion: Nice staff from the office to the greenkeepers, top place in wonderful nature. There is not much more...

Do not you have to play...
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed February 18, 2018
Played in the summer of 2017, the place did not present itself in the best condition. To be fair, I was told in the secretariat and I could play for a reduced green fee.
I found track 1 & 2 still interesting, so ran 3 to 8 eigendlich only parallel next to each other, all with a slope. Rail 9 was then unfortunately locked.
10-18 were a bit more varied, but only the 18 remained really positive in my memory.
Umterm stroke not more than average and a longer journey not necessarily worth.

Pretentious place in tranquil situation
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed August 18, 2016
There are wonderful views of the Taunus and the Westerwald. can be heard from civilization noise something only a very few tracks. It is partly strongly up or down, but quite manageable even on foot. Many fairways do by the inclined position is not easy. An additional difficulty in dry weather, the balls then verspringen very easy and also good punches, on the right page placed from the fairway, get on the other side in the semi-rough to rest (or disappear in hedges or in the forest). The haircuts and greens were mostly in a perfect conditions, some greens but unfortunately 'hoppelig'. From the fairways, about half were in a very dry, light-brown state.
Without influence on the evaluation: very good food with Indian and Italian cuisine, friendliness at the reception, and playing with a very nice, long-time club member.
Conclusion: Worth a trip to the Taunus

Still my favorite place
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 30, 2016
A beautifully situated golf course, which I still enjoy playing the most of all places of interest. Each lane is bordered by tree stands from the other tracks so you can very well concentrate on their own path and enjoy the tranquility.
The place is very well maintained, but also very demanding. The first 9 tracks almost all very obliquely applied, the back nine rather straight, but with some ups and downs. For Untrained an e-cart is useful in any case.
U. a. Be a lot of sand traps, water hazards and two now and then sometimes a narrow fairway, the round will be exciting. On some tracks you will be rewarded with a fantastic view.
The driving range is quite extensive and offers everything a golfer needs to practice and also has a few boxes that are completely separated by wooden walls.
Since the new operator of the Club restaurants offering excellent Indian, Italian or German cuisine and a very attentive and friendly service act there, take not only golfers like the food offer. On the adjacent terrace from which one can observe the green of the 18th hole, you feel in good weather like on holiday in the most wonderful quiet nature.
Not to mention the Club where you will be warmly welcomed at any time. Simply a golf course to relax. I recommend anyone him only.

A landscaped beautifully situated golf course with manicured fairways and despite moderate rains still good playable greens. Who does not like slopes, which should here might not play, I personally found the challenge very sexy. The fairways are applied varied, diverse bunker save the greens and (only) on 2 cars take water obstacles still not quite experienced golfers already sweat.
The front desk staff is very friendly to recommend the restoration with some unusual German / Indian cuisine and brisk service personnel also.
2 tips maybe at the end:
- Yes an e-cart is recommended in any case, because the transitions between the individual tracks are partly already well
- And who has the opportunity should take advantage of the offered Happy-Golf-Days. Since the actually already cheap green fee is the same again cheaper!

5.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 27, 2016
Although this year has certainly been brought no optimal golfing weather through all the rain, to present the place in a perfect conditions. Varied, significant paths with beautiful fairways and partly interesting undulating greens ensure an entertaining round. Everything made a clean impression. the attention to detail can be seen everywhere. equally applies to the Secretariat and restaurant: you will be served in a friendly and attentive. A small suggestion yet: The narrow bunker left of the green of the web 9 is so unfavorable designed so that the ball in the obstacle remains necessarily lie close to the lower left edge. A regular blow to the green is not possible because you get stuck in the turf with the bat. But that should be corrected with little effort - until then I think a bit further to the right on ;-)

The geographical situation of the fairways are very different, sometimes narrow, often with oblique slope. An E-Cart is highly recommended. Compared to the noisy environment in the Rhine-Main area of Kur is pleasantly quiet, although the noisy air traffic has already found its way over Solms, it's denoch to classes quieter than on the golf courses near Frankfurt.
Very beautiful is the water dispenser to hole. 13
The installation and greens make a neat impression. The gastronomy at the 18th hole invites you to linger.

4.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 27, 2012
The Attighof polarized, and that's good... This rugged charm can be like, but you do not. In summer is brutally punished by the slopes just good golf. This is unfair and is frustrating. On the other hand not that's true to all holes. With fresh green under the soles of the balls stay on the track, and then comes zero boredom. The former Japanese Country Club offers a mix of emotions. The views all around incredibly calm - time seems to stand still in the villages. While being sworn on the court... Family atmosphere. Moderate green fee possible. 3 stars for beginners or wimps - 4 Stars in handy fairways.

A trip to GCAttighof is empehlen definitely. The whole complex is very well maintained and the tracks are very varied: None similar over the others. In common is that they are adjacent to the fairway of some large trees (not for the slice, etc.) are lined and offer interesting elevation changes and slopes. This makes the game erich charm, but requires precise straight game, otherwise various balls could be gone.
In between, nice relaxing view points of painstaking labor into the distance as the landscape increases. Noteworthy friendly interaction with guests and members of the crew and also beer garden / restaurant behind 18 Green are inviting. Overall, it can only give the 5stars Rating, so does a golf weekend fun.
